ZTE Axon 40 ultra was unveiled by the Chinese smartphone with the third-gen under-display selfie camera just a few days ago. ZTE Axon 40 Ultra was mainly the star of the show, but the company had also announced the smaller version. The Flagship phone packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with an under-display camera, three 64MP shooters on the back, a 1TB storage option, and more. The device looks high-end thanks to the full-view 6.8-inch display and the beautiful-looking new wallpapers.
ZTE Axon 40 Ultra – Details
Before moving to the wallpapers section, here’s your sneak peek at the specs of ZTE’s latest flagship smartphone. Starting from the front side, then we have a huge 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 440ppi pixel density, 1500 nits of peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate support. The front panel dawns an under-display 16MP snapper for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture, other than that, the AMOLED display sports an optical fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and boots up with MyOS 12-based Android 12 OS.
The camera is one of the major attractions of the new Ultra, the newer model is billed with three 64MP camera sensors. The primary sensor is a Sony IMX787 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, 35mm focal length, OIS, and omnidirectional autofocus support. Moving to the ultra-wide-angle lens, then it has an f/2.4 aperture, it is the same IMX787 sensor, while the periscope camera has an f/3.5 aperture and it is an unknown sensor. Obviously, the Ultra supports 8K video recording and comes with all other essentials.
Ultra comes in with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The smartphone is available in Black, Gold, and Silver options. ZTE launches the Axon 40 Ultra in 8GB / 12GB / 16GB RAM options alongside the 256GB / 512GB / 1TB storage onboard. The lower-end variant’s price starts at CNY 5,000 (approx. $745 / €710 / ₹57,500).
