Stress Codes

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains what information Stress Codes ("we", "us") collects when you use our Android apps and games, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to:

If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].

1. Summary

2. Information we collect

Information stored only on your device

Your settings, game progress, stars, hints left, favourites and recently viewed wallpapers (when not signed in) are saved on your phone. They are not sent to us, and they are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Google Sign-In (wallpaper apps, optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google in WalP or our other wallpaper apps, we receive your Google account ID, email address, name and profile photo link from Google. We store these on our server together with your favourites and recently viewed wallpapers, so they sync between your devices. We never receive your Google password.

Google Play Games (Ringwise and Highway Hunter, optional)

If you sign in to Google Play Games, your Play Games player ID, display name and avatar are used for leaderboards and achievements. Your scores, achievements and (in Highway Hunter) cloud saves are stored by Google under your Play Games profile. Other players can see your Play Games name and scores on leaderboards, as set in your Play Games privacy settings.

Advertising data

Our apps show ads (banner, native, interstitial and rewarded video ads, depending on the app). The ad networks collect device information such as your advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system, language and ad interactions to show ads, measure them, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud. If you have bought a "remove ads" option, ads are not loaded.

Analytics and crash reports

We use Google Analytics for Firebase in all our apps, and Firebase Crashlytics in most of them. They collect app usage events (for example, which screens are opened, levels started and finished, hints used), app version, device model, operating system version and crash details, linked to a random app instance ID rather than your name or email.

Notifications

To send you notifications about new wallpapers, our wallpaper apps use Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your device a random token. Highway Hunter can show reminders (for example, when a free reward is ready) that are scheduled on your phone and need no data from you. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings.

Purchases

In-app purchases (such as the WalP Pro unlock or coin packs in Highway Hunter) are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your card or payment details. We receive a purchase confirmation from Google Play so the app can unlock what you bought.

Requests to our servers

When our wallpaper apps load wallpapers from stresscodes.com, our server receives standard technical information (IP address, app version, the request made and time). Our host keeps these logs for a short time for security and troubleshooting.

When you contact us

If you email us, for example with a bug report from inside an app, we receive your email address and what you send. Bug report emails from our apps include the app version and your phone model so we can reproduce the problem.

Device permissions

Our apps only ask for what they need: internet access, notifications, and permission to set your wallpaper. The wallpaper apps save wallpapers you choose to download to your phone. We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files beyond what you choose to save.

8. Deleting your data

To delete the account and synced data stored by our wallpaper apps, open the app's Settings, go to Account and choose to delete your account; this erases your account, favourites and history from our server straight away. You can also email [email protected] from your account's email address and we will delete it for you.

9. Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data sent between our apps and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Sign-in sessions use secure tokens stored in your device's encrypted storage. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. This website

The home page of stresscodes.com does not use cookies or tracking. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and shows live download and rating numbers from Google Play. Older blog pages on this site may use cookies and Google Analytics to count visits. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested).

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our apps change. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or on this page.
